Fantastic stock / one issue - Tyrant CNC NexGen AR Collapsible Buttstocks

I recently purchased 3x of these in different colors. They look fantastic and out of the box they feel great - they've got a nice weight, they feel sturdy and the fit up and finish is really top notch.

Upon initial inspection, I noticed one of the cheek rests was sticking out and up a little bit at the top rear of the stock. I figured I stick a fingernail under there and give it a little tug to make sure it wouldn't come loose while I was shooting or moving around and shockingly, the whole carbon fiber cheek rest just popped over. Underneath, there was adhesive spread across the whole top of the stock, but for whatever reason, the adhesive did NOT hold this piece on at all. To see if it was a common problem, I tried it again on one of the other ones I ordered and the exact same thing happened; the whole carbon fiber cheek rest popped off... aaaand same on the third one. The consistency of the adhesive looks like a mix between super glue and elmers glue... I'm not sure if I just got a batch that had bad adhesive or if this is a problem in the final fit up of these, but a little epoxy and some wood clamps and that carbon fiber piece is never coming off again.

For a 125+ dollar stock, I'd expect better; I've bought much cheaper stocks that do not have an issue like this (that said, they also don't look as sharp as these either).

I'm not disappointed in the purchase and I'd still recommend these - it's a sharp stock that looks and feels great; just the one issue.
