I am using them to transport custom knives that are packed in layers of light foam. There is enough foam that the lid has to be pushed closed, but not so much that it takes more than 1 hand. If the case gets jostled or tapped, the locks pop opened. This will not work for airline travel at all.
Pros: cheap
Cons: cheap
