Dev's Review of UnderTech Undercover Womens Concealment Holster Tank Top

An excellent, quality product.Fits true to size(use the measurements and size chart on the undertech website if you are unsure) without compressing too tightly. It is snug and holds my full size firearm comfortably and safely while still allowing movement.Machine washable, but I was honestly able to wear it several days before needing to wash it as it does not get sweaty or stinky at all.The only thing I have yet to figure out is how to carry my extra magazines in the second unused underarm pocket as it is open on the bottom. How does it not fall out??? Probably a simple solution, but beats me right now. I did not use the included retention strap as I felt it added extra seconds to a quick draw, and the gun is held very securely without it.But if you do decide to use it, there is no loud velcro which is great and adds to the silence of concealmemt. It is an easy, quiet sliding lock. For small size handguns, I doubt you would print at all with a regular button down shirt or t-shirt right over it,as the grip will barely be seen under your arm. With my service size weapon,I did have to wear either a light cardigan or blazer to conceal the area between my upper arm/elbow and chest as the grip protruded a bit more than I felt could be concealed.Regardless of size,I forgot I was wearing it and did not have to constantly fiddle around with it, readjust it,and otherwise tip my hand to the world that I was carrying,it is extremely comfortable.Even when driving or sitting, bending over, doing household chores,at no time did anything rub or push into me,it honestly is incredible. There was maybe a stitch or two in the back that was driving me mad giving me an itch the first day or two,but disappeared quickly.Might have just been stiff material from the actual holster, not sure, but have not felt it since. Reholstering does take some attention and mind looking down and feeling etc,but to me that is minimal in the grand scheme of things.Should I ever Gd forbid need it to protect myself or a loved one, putting it back in place is the least of my worries. It goes in and goes out of the holster very smoothly. No tugging or snagging even with my night sights. The pull away part of the pocket is an elastic, although a tough one,and seems to me to be perfect material. No snagging, no pulling, yet it hugs the gun close and tight to me and I also love that the entire trigger guard is protected snugly. There is no give in the material. The safety factor of that is awesome for me as I will elaborate next. You cannot get a grip on the trigger through the holster material with enough give to manipulate it in any way,let alone pull it.There is no way.there is no slack in the material to do that. Perhaps this is due to the size of my weapon, i am not sure. That being said, I am most impressed by that as it almost feels like its very own trigger hoster. (This is in no way advertised as such, or bragged about by the company, this is simply my positive experience with my individual weapon and this product). Two more points I would like to make that might be of interest to some women out there, and connects directly to my being impressed with the snugness of the actual holster: I am a breastfeeding mother of a toddler. I dont wear only button downs. In fact, i wear mostly shirts and cardigans.Lifting the shirt to nurse is NO problem with this tank.in fact, it provides coverage in front and back for those parts of our torso that are usually exposed when doing so :) the tank, while being compression, is lifted easily to provide access to baby. The grip and entire holster is very easily scooted a couple inches by tucking in the lifted up parts of the tank between the grip and your body. No problemo!!! We know how babe explores and grabs and moves with that bottom hand (the one thats not inside our mouths, nose, eyes etc lol). I was very very confident that those little fingers could not accidentaly maneuver the trigger. Not by mistake, not on purpose, not via my negligence. There is no way. (Be assured I am strict and take gun safety very seriously and will immediately stop nursing and "scold" little one not to touch mommys gun, but children are children and on the off chance i may not feel her deft fingers, i applaud the stiff snug material acting as a trigger holster).also, holding your arm down obviously shields the gun from nosy exploratory fingers too. Second point is, for frum women, this is incredible. We mostly wear 2 layers anyway. You will not see this with a light blazer, cardigan or fashionable scarf hanging over your shoulders.
Highly recommend both the scoop neck t-shirt and the tank top. Same review for both of them same exact experience. Excellent customer service from opticsplanet!!
