357 power in a 38 casing. - Underwood Ammo .38 Special +P 158 Grain Coated Soft Cast Semi-Wadcutter Hollow Point Gas Check Nickel Plated Brass Cased Pistol Ammunition

These are crazy powerful for a 38 special! These have more recoil than the speer gold dot short barrel 357 loads. I was shocked when i shot them out of my taurus 605. I bought these to be an alternative to full power 357 loads but these almost feel like 357 loads themselves haha. Out of a 2" snub these were still quite stout and snappy. Id be very careful what you load these into and don't shoot them regularly(or at all) out of an older model 38. I would recommend these if you're looking for a somewhat lighter(not by much) load for a 357 framed gun rather than the most powerful option for your 38 special.
