Just What I Was Looking For!
This is an excellent addition to the Ruger PC Carbine. While the stock forend isn't bad, it leaves a lot to be desired in the way of adding accessories. I had tried another popular option made of carbon fiber with M-Lok slots that was longer, yet lighter than the stock forend. While that product was good, I didn't like that the M-Lok slots were fairly far away from the receiver of the firearm. Enter this product, which is perfect because it is so compact, but allows for an incredible 8 M-Lok attachment points. looks great on the backpacker stock
This forened is 1/2" longer than the Magpul forend so you won't be able to attach the barrel to the stock, but it gives it a totally different look, plus you get more mlok locationa to mount stuff. Mine weighs in at 6.2 lbs with no magazines

Quality upgrade
I have the Ruger PCC backpacker edition, which is cool but not as functional as other models because the foreend leaves a lot to be desired as far as accessory attachments. I was able to swap the factory foreign grip with this one and immediately attach a vertical grip will plan on putting a pic rail on etc. This is a quality item and has a nice solid weight to it. It doesn’t feel cheap. You can put the optic mount onto it or take it off which I like excellent product.

Will not replace the mlok free floating handgaurd
Purchased to replace the free floating mlok handgaurd with something smaller. Liked the look of this one, but it turns out this will only replace the stock polymer handgaurds. Seems like a quality product if you're looking to replace the plastic handgaurd, but definitely won't work on models that come with the free floating handgaurd. Would be nice if that info was included in the product description.

Works and looks good
Nice little piece. I picked up and put on a Ruger PC 9mm carbine. Easy to install, one screw. Light weight, didn’t want to add anymore weight to this weapon it’s heavy enough. I didn’t mount the optics bracket I went with a red dot on the main body. Shot the weapon today, first time after installing, and the screw came loose. May need to torque it down next time. Really don’t want to use lock tight just for the purpose of removing it while cleaning. All in all nice piece of equipment. Will be mounting pic rails to it shortly.
