Century arms ap-5 upgraded rail and hand guard - UTG Pro MP5 Handguard

This rail and hand guard combo is the best upgrade that you can do to your mp-5 or ap-5 clone. It fits tight, it makes your weapon more modern looking, solid optic standard size pic rail for red dot or optic with magnification if that’s your choice. It is perfect for having the option to mount any diameter suppressor/can you want onto the 3 lug on your barrel. I have the other monolithic also that extends out past the forward sight, covering the barrel mounting lugs, which limits your choice of suppressors/cans to those with a narrow diameter like (rugged obsidian 9mm, 45 acp, etc.) I personally changed to this configuration and style because of that reason even though I own an obsidian. The shorter version keeps the looks compact and the other longer tends to look more like a carbine length rifle. Both are really cool! I just wanted short because I have mine registered NFA w/ collapsible stock. I’m glad now I have the option to configure either way that I am wanting to go or for the need at that time. Swapping them out takes 15-30 minutes depending on your skill level and firearm knowledge. Also if you work on your guns you need to buy tools for that purpose only. It makes a difference, I can promise you that!!
