V seven hides behind aproximate weight. - V Seven 308 Hyper-Light Magnesium M-Lok Handguard

I bought the 10.75" to build a light weight 375 Raptor. The product listing from V7s own sight states 5oz for the hand guard & 2oz barrel nut = 7oz. Mine weighed in 5.83oz for the hand guard & total weight @ 7.92 oz w/barrel nut & screws on a calibrated scale. I called V7 to ask what the heck? I was told all weights are approximate. 11.6% heaver than listed is not acceptable to me, especially If your charging $300-$400 for a part. I could see if was 7.2oz. I expected A LOT BETTER of a company that supposedly prides itself in light weight, high priced, quality parts, to have a complete understanding of what they're product weighs & not exaggerate how light weight it is & then hide behind the the disclaimer of all weights are approximate. NOT COOL!
