Although the aluminum version is lighter-weight, stronger is better for the castle nut. With aluminium, you'll 90% of the time you'll deform the metal when tightening things down with a steel armorer's wrench but this is a non-issue with titanium. I also really like the raw Ti finish which goes well with my Aero FDE build.
Pros:
- Strong & well made.
- lighter than steel
- impeccable finish
Cons:
- heavier than aluminium
