Great bedside & travel safe - Vaultek Safe VT10i Biometric Bluetooth Smart Safe w/ Auto-Open Lid, Rechargeable Battery

You will not be disappointed. This was purchased primarily for a bedside safe resting on top of our bedside table with it facing towards the bed. Set up was fairly simple, just follow instructions carefully. My wife and I are both set up as administrators utilizing that option during the initial biometric set up. Setting up the app was easy and nice to have. We utilized the the heavy duty safety cable attached to our bed post. There is plenty of room inside the safe to accommodate a S&W SHIELD 2.0 380ACP EZ pistol, 2 spare clips & 25 round box of ammo. There are two things that Vaultek should consider to improve this model. 1.) Increase the length of the USB charge cable to at least a minimum 8 ft. 2.) Provide the option to attach the safety cable on either side of the backside corners of the safe. This would allow to set the safe to face the bed with the safety cable to hang off the backside of a bedside table no matter what side of bed you choose. It would be more aesthetic pleasing having the cable hanging off the backside as opposed in our case on the left bedside table the cable lays towards the front then wraps around towards the back leaving the safety cable laying on the table top.
