You will not be disappointed. This was purchased primarily for a bedside safe resting on top of our bedside table with it facing towards the bed. Set up was fairly simple, just follow instructions carefully. My wife and I are both set up as administrators utilizing that option during the initial biometric set up. Setting up the app was easy and nice to have. We utilized the the heavy duty safety cable attached to our bed post. This is my third Vaultek Safe one on my countertop and one in each vehicle in case I’m in a no carry zone or on a long drive, the fingerprint scanners work great, reads it 99% of the time, catch it on sale and go for it

Biometric works fast and very reliable. This would be a perfect safe to keep on your bedside stand. It is pretty heavy but I guess thats good in some instances. Probably too heavy to carry around in backpack.
