These are truly amazing at low light or no light. They locked on a plane flying over at 9 PM at night, 2008 yards, and could see the entire underbelly with great detail. Another example is that after the plane left, there was a roof of a home 278 yards away. I could easily tell that it was a roof with the naked eye but couldn't see any distinguishing marks until I looked through the binoculars;wow, all the roof vents and lead pipes were very visible. VERY impressed.
