Fantastic alternative to traditional khakis for business-casual wear. - Vertx Core Casual Pants

I purchased these pants because I wanted to upgrade my look from cargo pants to something slightly more business-oriented because of the amount of time I spend in front of clients. However, I still didn't want to loose the durability, and additional storage of a more traditional cargo or tactical pant. These pants have been an excellent compromise.

The front pockets are huge and deep, and the concealed zipper pocket is great for a front-pocket wallet (which used to ride in a cargo pocket). The material and constriction are top-notch, and the fit is excellent. I really wanted a pant with a gusseted crotch, which these have, as I do significant amounts of bend, kneeling, and squatting for work, and this makes a huge difference in comfort. Also, the high-rise back and elastic in the sides also helps keep your shirt where it should be. The belt loops easily handle my 1.5" webbing belt, and the lack of buttons on the back pockets is perfect (on pants with buttons, I always seemed to rip them off on chairs, etc).

Overall, I think this is the perfect design for me, in regards to a long pant for work. I will be buying more pairs moving forward. I have only owned them for ~2 weeks, so I cannot speak to durability, but from the quality of the construction, I am not worried. I do wish they had some additional color choices, but I really like the desert tan.
