Great design but poor execution - Vertx Defiance Jeans - Men's

When I first got the jeans I was really impressed with the design. I think much better than the 5.11 and less expensive BUT DO NOT ever put them in the dryer. They shrivel up and FITB.Ike skinny jeans. They stretch out some. They are NOT straight leg, at least not in the same sense my Carhart jeans are. No way you’re carrying an IFAK on your ankle with them. After several times through the wash they start to show their wear. If I were to order again I’d get 2 sizes bigger in waist and probably 2” longer in the inseam because I know they’d end up in the dryer eventually.
