Great piece of cold weather gear - Vertx Smock Jacket w/Nanosphere - 100% Nylon

I bought this smock to replace a worn out Patagonia LEAF jacket. I picked the Vertx Smock because I needed a good solid outer layer for my warming layer. The first week I got this smock I had the opportunity to test it out as it rained hard all day here and it was cold. This smock worked great at shedding the rain and blocking the wind. I would definitely recommend thus piece of gear as it has lots of storage room and is cut large enough to accommodate warming layers while still being able to move freely.
