Great bag for off body carry - Vertx Essential 2.0 Bag

Seems very well made and the weapons compartment is easy to access. I did not use the Vertx brand velcro holster but used thick industrial velcro strips to secure a regular kydex holster and mag pouch. It's a very solid setup. I'm able to carry the bag in such a way that drawing from the bag is very similar to drawing from the appendix carry position. Had to play with it the mechanics on getting into the pouch but once I came up with a system it's very easy to use. There is still plenty of room for a med kit and anything else I might want to carry. Looking into getting a ballistic panel for it.
