I bought this to go on a Howa 1500 series in 6.5 Creedmoor. It really didn't need it, but the reviews said it would keep you on target for the second round. Prior to its addition, the flash at the end of the barrel obstructed my view for a few seconds, and I would have to bring it back online to see where the rounds landed. With this on, the flash was dispersed more to the sides and I was pretty close to being right on target so that I could see where the rounds hit. There was lite recoil with the 6.5 yo begin with, and now there is even less. I would buy again in a heartbeat.
