This laser is not made for the Smith and Wesson Shield! There is not an accessory rail molded to the frame on the Shield! The only way to install a laser sight is if you purchased a laser guard from crimson trace...take a close look at the picture, it is an M&P compact not the shield!

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
