Great laser light - Viridian Reactor R5-R Elite Red Laser For Sig P238/938 R5-R-238/938

Viridian did a very good job with the R5 Reactor light and holster. This sight is extremely useful since the P938 is great in the "cocked and locked" position and ready to fire when needed. The price at Optics Planet was so low that I didn't expect to get the holster -- a surprising bonus. The holster must have a magnet built in that turns the laser On and Off automatically so that you don't have to do anything to it at all. It took 15 minutes to install and just another 5 minutes to sight (line up with sights) on a table top aiming at a wall poster--the table top provided absolute stability for the pistol and use of the sights on top of the slide in lining up with the red laser. The extra battery pack was another unexpected bonus! Last, I took it out back of our home the night after receiving it and 'aimed' it at some trees. It was amazing how clearly it made the trees appear when everything else was blurry-dark. I was thinking about mounting the holster inside my truck console (along the side of the console) so that I wouldn't have to fumble with it or turn the battery pack on or off.
