Viridian reactor light for ruger lcp - Viridian Reactor TL Compact Tactical Light for Ruger LC w/ Pocket Holster & ECR

The fit and finish of the light is good. Slightly fidgety to put on but I believe that is a function of proper fit to a curved trigger guard. The singular function of the Viridian Reactor that separates it from other lights or lasers is the instant on/off function enabled by the included pocket holster. The light can be used in both instant on/off mode or manual mode via the easily accessible switch on the left side of the light. Pull the gun - light on - instantly with no delay. Reinsert the gun back into the holster and the light reliably turns off instantly. The included pocket holster is light in weight, fits the gun fine, fits my pockets fine and resists pulling out with gun. Gun comes out easily. The holster is slippery inside with no retention as designed. The light itself is adequate. It is not a blinding light as it is too small for that but, in order to fit this weapon it is of necessity a trim light weight piece. If it wasn't it would defeat the purpose of having a small light weight pocket gun. The light is adequate to identify the target at the distances you are likely to use and the ones it is intended for. Included in the package were four batteries with only two needed for installation. I tried the light in both completely dark rooms to shady rooms in daylight with the expected results of clear and adequate target identification in those light conditions where my eyes needed help.
I inadvertently ordered the light when I intended to order the Reactor laser. After using it I'm not upset and may keep it although I will order the laser regardless. I combo light/laser reactor would be the cats pajamas as in larger pistols but then it would require a larger, heavier package with larger, more powerful batteries defeating the purpose of a pocket and small concealment pistol.
