Fits gun nice but doesn't work as described - Viridian Right TacLoc Holster for Walther PPQ

I purchased this specifically for the ability to holster the PPQ (5in barrel) with the x5l laser attached as well as the ECR feature. I had a concern based on reviews for similar style holsters elsewhere that by deploying the retention lever that my finger would fall on the trigger leading to a possible unintentional trigger pull. In actuality, my lever may have an imperfection since I do not need to depress the lever at all to upholster the gun. I can just pull the gun out with my finger no where close to the retention button. Also, about 1 out of 10 holster pulls my gun will be "locked" in the holster and will not come out at all. I thought,"maybe that's the retention system kicking in" but depressing the button doesn't help and I have to wiggle the gun around (but do not need to depress the tension button) to get it to come out. I think I have decreased confidence in the holster since I can't reliably count on it giving me my weapon when I need it. It's a shame since it holds my gun very snug and is very comfortable and securely fits in my pants.
