Veridian for walther p22 - Viridian Walther P22 (3.4 Inch and 5 Inch Barrel) Green Laser

Pulled gun out of the nightstand after about 3 months and the laser battery was dead. Expiration date was 2020. If new battery dies prematurely I will permanently remove laser from gun. It was either shipped with near dead battery or the circuitry is parasitic, either way, I blame this on Veridian. This device is supposed to give my ageing eyes an advantage if someone breaks in during the night. Bottom line: It should be reliable without me needing to change the battery every couple of months. Think about it.
Pros: Easy to mount, fits superbly. Green dot visible in bright light or in the dark.
Cons: Battery died real soon.
