Great learning tool and home defense tool. - Viridian C5L Universal Sub-Compact ECR Laser w/ Tactical Light

I am new to shooting and recently purchased a Springfield XD subcompact. I am an inconsistant shooter at best. Using the laser as a training tool has been invaluable. I place a snap cap in the magazine in a random location. When you fire the snap cap you get to see what you are doing wrong. The laser clearly showed me that i was overcompensating down and to the left. That is invaluable for a new learner. The other fact is in a home defense situation, I will not be using my traditional sites.
Pros: Easy to use.
