4lux grip light - Viridian Weapon Technologies 4LUX Close Quarters 400 Lumen Grip Light

Well a review before this got me worried about the grip, but that review got it pretty wrong on how to hold it... I figure that is why the low rating. But this thing is not meant to be held like a vertical foregrip or pistol grip, it is meant to be held with a C-Clamp and just like most other foregrips. There are pictures on the website to show that. I can sorta see how the dude thought that, but once you switch the grip it is super comfortable and ergonomic and you feel right away that you got the grip right. Kinda wild how getting the grip in place turns the light on basically automatically. Cant even feel the switch. And just a wiggle of the pointer finger can turn it on and off without sacrificing your grip. Fits seamlessly on my AR with Mlok, has a really tough feel and not going anywhere, that's for sure. Light output is totally sufficient for most applications, though I wouldn't use it for longer distance varmint hunting... but it would show eyes up to 100 yards I am sure. Lasts quite a while too. I have used it for a week on and off just checking it out and haven't run through a set of batteries yet. Neat design, a lot like their HS1 laser hand-stop I have 3 of now, so I figured I would give this one a try. Now a laser AND light would be super cool! I bet they are gonna do that. Maybe would have liked more peripheral light? But overall this thing is cool for a decent price.
