I was a gunner on a humvee on Route Irish Baghdad/airport HWY. Nobody had lasers only surefire flashlights we were issued. As a gunner it was our duty to keep everyone away from the patrol or convoy. I had a laser mailed to me from my hometown gunshop. From many experiences, nothing is an attention getter and possibly violence preventer like a combat rifle with a laser and light. The attention I got from civilians with laser warnings probably saved me from a number of bloody outcomes. A laser is a must for a defensive weapon as it may bring someone who did not have bad intentions to the realization they need to yield. Laser is what I imagined the ideal laser. It is light and feels sturdy. What I love is it uses the natrual form of a grip to house components. Its not a big knob or block dragging down your profile. I must mention the switch, it is excellent. Back towards you on the soft rubber tab is pressure/ momentary. Flick it forward with your finger and its fixed on. Strong laser!!
