Smith & wesson m&p 15 sport ii optics ready 5.56 nato - series m&p®15 sport ii - VISM AR15 M-LOK Carbine Handguard

I ordered this for myself for Christmas due to the price and good reviews. Cannot beat the price!
I was skeptical that it would not fit my new S&W M&P 15 Sport II Optics Ready since I do not have iron sites.
My gun only came with a Crimson Trace Red/Green Dot Optics and now an even heavier Vortex StrikeFire 2 red dot with the free rebate from S&W.
I could not find any videos or reviews saying this actually for sure 100% worked with the Optics Ready M&P15 and it fits perfect!
I will say it was a little tough to install but after a few tries, it dropped right in and fits super tight. I really wish I could add a few pictures but not seeing the option.
This VISM handguard absolutely differentiates the modern budget S&W M&P 15 from others and for the price, forget about it!

Would recommend this handguard over and over a hundred times!

The VISM handguard doesn't appear it would be that heavy but, it is now quite a bit more front heavy.
Due to the added weight I am now ordering a foregrip to attach to the bottom picatinny rail and a sling.
