Pretty straightforward/simple-but-effective design. Holds 11x14 well, but anything smaller seems to fall low...the one fault (with steel) is the velcro inside the pockets that’s supposed to boost the smaller plates from beneath. It pulls on the rest of the jacket a bit and results in a slightly uneven feel. Lighter plates are probably fine though, strong velcro.
