Looked nice out of the box! - Vism Evolution Series 2.5-10x50 Rifle Scope with Glass Etched Reticle

I knew I was not getting a top notch scope, however before mounting, I took it outside to see how clear the optics were. They Weren't! At 10 power I just could not get the thing to focus. The reticle was crisp but that was it. I kept thinking it was my eyes so I compared it to another scope. It was the VISM just fuzzy at high power. I also has a problem with the illumination control. It is not pinned on so when you turn it clockwise it would tighten making it increasingly difficult to change brightness. Counterclockwise, it will just get loose, making the indicator...worthless. I also thought I was getting a 10 powered compact scope... The Image online is WRONG! It is a full size SCOPE! with a 50mm objective. Save your money for better glass!
Pros: Nice looking Scope,
Cons: Poor image at high power, Illumination control "Spins" and does not line up with "OFF" indicator.
