Many people complaining about this item, but I see no problems with it, functions very well as advertised. Good manufacture, finish, durability. Have installed a small Picatiny rail on the forend of my M1A and it provides good support. Just make sure it is assembled properly to ensure good vertical alignment when used on flat surfaces. Only gripe I have is that it does not freely move laterally to compensate for slight cant adjustment, but this is minor, simply dig out a little dirt on the high side to bring the rifle level with horizon. Excellent stable platform when shooting out to 1,000 yards or greater. Solid and has many useful features. I like it.
