It worked but............ - VISM Ncstar Universal Semi-Auto Pistol Slide Front & Rear Sight Tool

Used to remove the rear sight on my XDM to install a Trijicon RMR optic using a dovetail plate. The sight was very stubborn and I'm guessing the factory uses some sort of Loctite during production. Although the bolt frame, side clamps, and pusher blocks are of excellent quality materials and design, the top clamp and the base platform are plastic components that do not lend stability when trying to extract a difficult sight. I had issues with the base platform bending as I tried to manipulate the pusher block to unseat the rear site. It's an alright tool and it did get the job done but I felt I could have gotten the same success had I spent less on something like one of those inexpensive ratchet blocks I saw elsewhere on the site.
