Not bad for the cash - Vism Plate Carrier Vest w/2 10x12in Level IIIA Shooters Cut Hard Ballistic Panels

I am prior combat arms and wore an Interceptor vest 2003-2006 Iraq. also Deputy Sheriff for 10 years so I have a knowledge on vest comfort. This is a basic carrier but seems to be well built and fairly comfy so far with a long sleeve and a under armor t-shirt. Has room for most things needed for the field. Plates are very thin and lite but I guess that's good and means progress. I'd hate to feel a 357 or 44 mag hit me with them on but hopefully I wont find out. Maybe some soft armor placed under the plates would help. On sale this is a good purchase and I'm happy with it so far. If I were a street cop or in combat I'd definitely spend the extra cash on rifle grade plates.
