I was looking at this compared to the Crimson Trace version. I was a little concerned when I saw the pictures as it looked like it may not be solid. After receiving it I was pleasantly surprised to find this is in no way flimsy or cheap. It is very rugged. The controls which they don't describe online very well are as follows; on the back there are 2 rubber covered buttons next to each other. The button on the left activates the laser, flashlight, or both while the button is pressed. The button on the right is an on/off where you can click and turn the laser, flashlight, or both on until the button is pressed to turn them off. The silver switch under those two buttons is a 3 position switch that contols whether it is the laser, flashlight, or both that are activated when one of the other 2 buttons are used. It has a small storage compartment in the vertial length of the grip that is sealed and would allow you to carry extra batteries. The compartment is sealed with a screw in cap that has a rubber o-ring to resist water. There is not a hollow feel to this grip at all, it is very solid. It attaches to the rail with a quick disconnect lever very securely with no slop. The lever has a samll locking mechanism so it can't be accidentally knocked off. The controls are just a personal preference. They aren't difficult, I would like a side button but I knew it didn't have one going in so that is my only personal detraction BUT when you compare to what the Crimson Trace version costs at ~$350, I'll stick with this one. Also this grip is not bulky as nothing sticks out past the mount width other the the QD latch. The Crimson Trace looks bulkier. I'm very happy and am going to buy another for separate weapon. Also, as it indicates in the description, the LED laser is adjustable and both the allen wrenches are included. This is a quality product. Don't let it fool you how much less it is that the big name grip and I do have Crimson Trace grips on another weapon and I have nothing against their products other than cost in this partticular use case. Hope this helps.
Pros: Inexpensive, Rugged, Laser,Flashlight,Storage, Easy Install, Slim
Cons: Controls could be better - personal preference issue only
