Good investment - Volquartsen Firearms Remington 597 Action Kit w/Target Hammer & Extractor

I've owned my 597 since 2000. its had 10's of thousands of rounds through it. Lately the trigger pull left something to be disired, and was getting more fte's than normal. The volquartsen extractor was the highest praised amongst the forums, I saw this kit for sale and went for it. I also bought a Tandemcross trigger spring kit with this. with those 2 kits, the new trigger pull was incredible! but 8/10 times, i would get light primer strikes. Went back to the stock trigger spring and bang, bang, bang! every time! the trigger pull is better than stock with the target hammer, and fte's are a non-issue anymore. the Volquartsen hammer/extractor kit is definitely a good buy, breath new life into your rifle!
