My goal in buying this kit was to split up the contents between a car first aid kit and my range bag, but I was apprehensive since the product description doesn't state what kind of tourniquet is included, or what format (powder, gauze, etc.) the QuikClot is. As it turns out, the tourniquet is a SWAT-T, and the QuikClot is their 4"x4" EMS Dressing. My only concern with the latter is that the date (presumably expiration) is April 2021, so less than a year away. However, QuikClot allegedly remains effective at least a few years beyond the printed date. I knew I wouldn't be getting a CAT tourniquet at this price.

The vague description is no fault of Optics Planet, as other online retailers and even the Voodoo Tactical website all have the same, word for word. The price is reasonable based on what the kit ultimately consisted of, and will serve my purposes just fine.
