I've got the Zeiss Classic 10x40B armored binoculars. Was looking for a tethered cap with a good fit. The SKU number on these is: VX-BA-LNCR42-CAP4254. I've seen these advertised other places as Vortex 42/54. I'm guessing that's the min/max measurement of the objective end they'll go around. Don't confuse that measurement with the advertised size of the objective LENS. What matters is the outside diameter of your binoc housing. Any, for me, these work perfect. They're made of pretty thick rubber-type polymer, not cheap stuff. The tether loop will stretch over the ends and has enough g...

Original manufacturer Vortex Diamondback binocular covers. Lost both front caps while walking to a deer stand, so I bought these replacements. Planning to glue them to the binoculars, so they don’t slide off again... wish the binoculars had a cutout ring for them to fit into, which would hold them in place better.

I was leaving for a hunting get trip and needed to replace a lost lens cover for my binoculars. I was concerned the covers would arrive in time for my trip but they arrived on time as promised. They fit as listed and I would definitely purchase future products from Optics Planets in the future.

Fit my Swift binocular perfect, where the original cap was called 52.6 (a size I could not find).
The tether part of the lens cover is sort of a rubber band strap and it holds well.
But..... If you are one of those people who look at fit and precise spacing a bit more than you should, trying to get the margin between the tether and the cover to be consistent could add to the things you need to do today.
Works fine, feels very secure, can't get lost, drives me crazy. (OK, I'm already there.)
Pros:
Functions great
Cons:
Drives me crazy trying to get a perfect look.

I purchased these lens caps to replace the lost originals. They fit my new Nikon Prostaff 7 8X40 perfectly. I have used them in the field and I couldn't ask for more easy to use replacements and they don't fall off and get lost.
