I purchased the Vortex Crossfire
4-16x50 scope hoping that I had found the perfect low-budget scope.
I was greatly disappointed when I took it to the range to sight it in for the first time. I had it zeroed in 10 rounds. Less than 20 rounds later it began to lose zero. After 30 rounds out of my AR-15 (chambered in 5.56 NATO) the crosshairs begain to rotate to the side.
I called Vortex warranty department and they told me they were having a problem with the glue that is used on the Crossfire lenses.
They were willing to replace, repair or refund my money. I chose to have my money refunded.
Pros: Excellent Warranty
Cons: Cannot hold up to normal use
