very clear, well made, heavy and feels solid in your hand. I love them and glad I went with the 8X not the 10X which would be difficult to hol dsteady by hand for longer periods of time. Highly recommended product
Vortex Crossfire 8x42 Binocular
We only wanted an inexpensive pair of binoculars to keep in the family room so we could periodically enjoy deer and other wildlife in our backyard. Apparently binocular technology has improved dramatically over the past few years because the Crossfire binoculars equalled and perhaps exceed the visual quality of a much more expensive pair of binoculars I purchased several years ago for hunting purposes. The daytime clarity is surprising and it also gathers light very well at dusk for evening use. The Vortex Crossfire has nice ergonomics for extended viewing and ease of use. For what I can see, Vortex's warranty is unmatched. There's really no reason to spend much more for everyday binoculars.

Nice Binos
Bought them for my wife for Christmas, but I might have to steal them. Very nicely built, focus is great. Focus distance was a big selling point for me. Can focus on objects as close as 7-8’. Glass is extremely clear, like most Vortex products. For the money, these were a great purchase. Also the 2-day free shipping was nice.

Vortex Crossfire Binoculars
I am pretty impressed with these binoculars. Definitely great glass for the price. I searched around and compared a few pairs of binoculars before ultimately deciding to go with Vortex. Laregly in part due to their amazing warranty. I havent bought a product from Vortex I have not been satisfied with yet.

Vortex Crossfire 8x42 Binocular
Great glass quality for the price. Recently took them hunting and theey functioned as needed. They come with a nice soft case lens covers. Compact in size wich easily allows storing in your pack. The weight is just right and will reduce fatigue when hiking. I have various Vortex products and been happy with all.

Good glass for the money
Plus, clear glass. Good field of view. Good sized exit pupil size. East fast focus and stable setting. Has tripod mount.
Cons, a little heavy but coating of them is grippy.
Will be ides for bow hunts and 3d shooting moatly.

vortex binoculars
Vortex offers great products and no hassle warranty is unbeatable. When I have called them an American patriot speaking fluent English always answers the phone. The crossfire 8 x 42 is comparable to my LEICA 10 x 50s

For budget minded enthusiast like myself, the vortex crossfire 8x42 is an excellent pair of binoculars at a great price. Optics planet customer service helped me find just the right pair for my usage and price range.

Vortex 8x42 Bino's
Very happy with my purchase, light weight, sharp and supper clear. Only down side is the basically unusable lens covers, not a big deal for me as we keep them at our camp on a lake and use them from the deck mostly to look at wildlife.

what i like about this product
They were just like I told they would be by my friend. Great! Perfect for morning and evening viewing of game animals. also a good thing to use at a sports game. looking into the stars is all so good with these glasses.
