This is the best off both worlds for close quarters combat and medium range precision in one scope! I have it mounted on my MBR. I had an acog and relex mounted on top. The acog horse shoe reticle covered most of the target at 200 yards. The dot on the vortex is variable and small. Both features I like for longer range shots. They both work equally as well for close quarters.

Can't beat the price!
