Savage axis creedmoor 6.5/ crossfire 2 package- - Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I bought a Savage Axis 2 Creedmoor 6.5 and this scope came with it. I removed the scope and put it on my dad’s 40 year old 30-06. Talk about recoil?? I never know a rifle could kick like a 12 gauge shot gun but this old gun punches you good. It’s important to make that first shot count and the Vortex Crossfire 2 does a fantastic job. Holds zero- no problem- crystal clear glass and holdovers for the long shot.

This is perfect for the new AR owner- don’t waste time with all the fancy fads and gimmicks. When its time shoot, the 4x is what they use in the military - close quarters. At the range the 12x will let you see the holes as you make them at 100 yards. I’ve tried all the neat laser, reflex blah blah blah- In the end, i bought a simple scope 4-16x and I wish I had just kept the scope for my AR. Pick up the cantilever and this scope is a one size fits all for the serious hunter or the serious range goer. Quick release and this becomes a scope for all your guns.
