Vortex crossfire a - ok - Vortex Crossfire II AO 4-12x50mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope

Put this scope on my Mauser 30-06 - it is a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 X 50. I put it on leveled it and torqued it down in spec. I shoot 168gr Sierra Match grade bullets - with a hand load that matches the speed and pressure of factory ammo. With everything ready, I went to the range - as usual, I shot it in a 25 yards it initially to get on paper and recheck torque on the screws (use red lock tight on all mounting screws) and move out to 100yds. Rifle shoots MOA out to 400yds - that is as far as I have ever put it on paper, but have killed out to 550 on game (hogs) and love the rifle. The scope is clear edge to edge at all powers and held zero with no problems - this day I only shot out to 100 yards, but shot 30 rounds through the rifle and scope all together. The shots at 100 yards were all within 3/4" and 90% were within 1/2" - the scope did its job and did it well.
Optics Planet did their job well also - the shipping time was as declared and product is great. Hope some of you out there try this scope - I shot in the heat ad had little or no mirage for most groups. TRY IT - YOU'LL LIKE IT.
