Easy to install and sight in. Width of optic slightly overhangs the slide but is barely noticeable.

Rugged, badass little optic for my daily carry G19C. Definitely worth the investment. Honestly cannot understand why a Trijicon RMR would be almost 3x the cost, even though i love their ACOG on my M4.

This is my favorite pistol optic ever, it looks great, it’s durable, the dot gets super bright even during the day and it comes with everything you could need to mount it. This thing is awesome. The only gripe I have is battery life but it’s really not a huge deal. I would absolutely recommend this to anything with RMS cut pistol

First Vortex Brand

So far the Vortex Defender CCW is as advertised. Went green dot and it is clear. Optic did direct mount to my G48 mos. I have Holosun on all my other pistols but did not want to use a plate.

Boomer sees the light!

I’m in my mid 60s now, and wear glasses with astigmatism. I tried using a red dot a few years back and it just did not work for me at all. On my vortex defender has really come through for me! I can pick up that very easily and it’s improved my aim. I’ll be purchasing the Exel for my full size MNP9.

  • This attached directly to my Smith & Wesson shield, and the dot was preset perfectly
Cons:
  • Like all consumers, I would like to see the MSRP come down a little
