Matt S.'s Review of Vortex Diamondback 10x32mm Binoculars
I started keeping a pair of 10x28 binoculars in the car, just in case I ran into a situation where I might want them. It started paying off more than I expected so I decided to move my 10x28 binos to my usual grab bag and began looking for a new pair for the car.
The Vortex Diamondback line of binoculars offers a tremendous value. The quality that you receive given the price you pay is pretty impressive. I had gotten my dad the 8x42 Diamondback binoculars as a gift a couple years ago so the 10x32 Diamondback binoculars seemed a perfect fit for my need when I heard that Vortex had revamped the Diamondback line recently.
I went up to a 32mm objective over the 28mm since they stay in the car most of the time but I still like the compact size if I decide to pack them.
I have found myself grabbing them from the car when camping, at the beach, on road trips, at the range, etc.
Several times when I forgot to bring a full size pair of binos with me, I was saved by having a pair in the car.
Many people do not realize how useful it can be to have a quality pair of binoculars ready to grab at almost any moment.
I encourage most people I meet to try it, if just for a month or so. Pretty rare that you won't find a use for them even once in that timeframe.
