BriMan's Review of Vortex Diamondback 10x42mm Roof Prism Binocular
I was very excited when I saw that Optics Planet had the Vortex Diamondback binoculars in stock. I quickly ordered a pair for my son for Christmas. Now he won’t have to squint in low light like the old binocs he used to use. Vortex has great resolution and clarity for the price as I have owned several ‘European-made’ binocs and for the money you could outfit your entire hunting camp with Vortex for the price of one German binocular. I am very pleased with Vortex as after purchasing my first set of binocs I sold my German pair and bought a pair for my son. They are easy to carry and adjust and are just as advertised. An added plus is they are made in America and have a great warranty.
Pros:

Cons:
- Weight, but that is to be expected with a 10x42
- Rather heavy but to be expected from a full-size binocular.
Best Used for:
- sightseeing, and sporting events
- Hunting, sightseeing, sporting events.
