OK Binoculars but…
These 10x50 Vortex Diamondbacks are about what you would expect as far as optical quality. You get what you pay for, no more and no less. Beware if you have a smaller pupillary distance. Mine is 64mm and these just barely accommodate that. If yours is any smaller they won’t close up enough for you. ...

vortex diamondback binoculars

nice binoculers
I ordered these for my buddy. Very nice clear binos and caught them on sale for $190 including tax. Better than my Bx-2 alpine 10×52 leupolds. Same as my Bx-1 10×50 leupold. Leupold had a bad apple with the bx2 for some reason are dark looking.

Love the Diamondbacks, They are clear and pull in tons of light. Good for the person who is hard on their equipment.

Fantastic handheld Bino
The 50mm lens and 10x is about the best combination you can do for stable distant viewing. HIGH QUALITY sight picture and if you want to put it on a tripod, i found the KOWA KB2-MT is narrow enough to go between the lenses and can still tighten. Best warranty on the planet and high build quality. As long as I can afford Vortex…that is the ticket.

Great glass but heavy.
Great glass and very rugged design. A but on the heavy side and getting the eyes close enough together takes a bit of work as the plastic caps make them not close as far when the hit but you can slid one up slightly and make it work. Still very happy with the purchase and love the case too!

I'm Impressed
As soon as I received this item, which was pretty quick, I took it out of the box and adjusted it to my liking. WHOAH!! With other binoculars I've had in the past, this one really beats them all. This is the clearest I've seen. Very much worth it to invest in these. I love the case it comes with as well. I bought it for home use but I believe these could be used on a hunting adventure depending on what you plan to hunt. I like watching birds around my house but these could pick up a lot more. Be careful if you wear glasses. If you buy, try it without your glasses first.
