The color of the red dot was supposed to be tan, but yes, has a massive green tent to it instead of a tan color that I was looking for on the battery compartment. All of the pictures showed Vortex above the OPMOD but mine doesn’t have that either was very disappointed in it

The style and performance can not be beat at this incredible price. I bought 2 in each color for my collection of composite handguard, mid-school AR's. Because of the great price I paired them with Daniel Defense mounts and it makes for a rock solid, reliable set-up. I highly recommend you get one for yourself and a couple for your gun buddies for future gifts.....

AR Scope for my wife’s Rifle

Vortex strikefire 2

Mount it up easy enough. I used a low profile vortex scope ring and mounted it to a carry handle on an m4. I decided it in using a laser but I have not had a chance to take it to the range yet. It seems like good quality and she's going to work just fine.

Strike Fire II �

This is the 3rd StrikeFire I have owned. The green / red selection for the dot is awesome. The Flat Dark Earth finish was exactly what I needed for my AR pistol build I just finished. I wish I could post a photo. Easy to operate. Different levels of intensity and very accurate. Comes with the perfect vortex cantilever mount.
