Great for the price. - Vortex Solo Tactical RT 8x36 Tactical Monocular w/ Ranging Reticle

For the highly doubt that you can find anything better. I might be more critical if this were $1,000. The image makes it difficult to tell how big it is. It could fit inside of a standard pop can.

I purchased this for camping, watching birds in the back yard, checking targets at the range, and I'm old with vision that's not nearly as good as when I was 20. The ranging reticle is a nice feature. Not sure how much I'll use it.

The case isn't particularly good. This does not bother me since I plan on throwing it in a pocket or pouch. It doesn't appear the clip can be moved to the other side. This might be annoying to a lefty. Lens caps would have been nice to avoid smudges.
