You can’t go wrong with the Vortex Viper HS 2.5x10. Crystal clear glass at a reasonable price. This is my second Vortex scope and I’m hooked. Mounted it on a Henry 30-30.

Viper HS 2.5-10x44mm 30mm Tube SFP

Totally functional rifle scope for the price. For my eyes! The crosshairs are a bit thin for down range targets, and the sight picture was not as crisp as I expected down range.

Rock solid optic!

I have been using an older version of this optic on my duty .308 rifle for about 6 years. It is perfect for urban deployments because of the field of view requirements. Makes the bolt gun a bit lighter and maneuverable getting into cramped positions. Works great with night vision. Don’t need any higher power than 10x.

Great scope at a great price

I reviewed many scopes and once again I returned to opticplant and the vortex scope line of scopes. This is my third vortex scope from opticplant. Took 10 rounds to sight on only because I didn't lock the scope to rail properly. I was very happy with the great service from the opticplant folks. Thank you for all your assistance.

Cost effective

Easily the best optic I've ever sat behind for the price range. Clear glass, great clarity on the reticle. Zoom is easy. Elevation/windage adjustments are very tactile without being too stiff. Glass is great in low light, but I wish the reticle was illuminated for evening hunts.

Great hunting scope for under 300yd shots!

Bought this scope for a youth hunting green fields with a 6.5 creedmoor Briwning A-Bolt. Works perfectly! Love the 30mm tube, easy to adjust! Thinking of buying another one for an AR-10. Vortex quickly gaining on the competition. Warranty second to none!

Quality product

Took this scope up and down the mountain from 5000 feet to 11000 feet and always held zero, especially when I dropped it a couple times coming down the mountain. Had very good light in the morning when we would glass right away and at night when the sun was almost completely down. Have this scope on a couple rifles and would highly recommend. I sent it back to get fixed once after dropping it accidentally and was back within a couple weeks.

Great Scope for the Money!

This is the 2nd Vortex Viper i have and I love them! Clear glass and holds zero, what more could you ask for???? I've used them in the rain, cold, heat, and still they perform. The 30mm tube really gives me an edge, it let's in substantially more like then some of my other 1" tube scopes.
