Excellent product, service and warranty - Vortex Ranger HD 3000 10x42mm Laser Rangefinding Binocular

Purchased a Ranger HD shortly after the item was introduced and used it at the range and hunting in two states and Canada. Weather veried from in the 90s to a low of 7 degrees, from Sunday to rain and snow. When I first used this unit it checked the reading against two other ranging devices and these binos were always within a 1 or 2 regardless of the distance. On known distances the unit continued to be accurate. During the last trip to the woods in Canada the digital readout stopped displaying. I tested the VIP warranty and Vortex stood by their promise to take care of the customer. Vortex replaced the unit with a brand new unit within a week. The new unit came with all the "stuff" the fist unit came with so now I have two of all the straps, etc including a chest bag. Two thumbs up to Vortex.
