Still a relevant option - Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50mm 35mm Tube First Focal Plane Rifle Scope

I had been looking for the right scope for my Savage 12 LRP for a few months and settled on this scope. Sure the gen II is out and has slightly better glass but the feathures you get with the gen I and the clarity of the glass made me feel that the price delta wasn't worth it. Turrets feel fantastic, very usable reticle, heafty feel, all make for the perfect scope (for me) on the bench. I think Vortex designed this scope so we'll all those years ago that it will continue to be a relevant and competitive option for years to come (much like the Bushnell scope it replaces). The only mild inconvenience is tube diameter. It's getting a little tough to find good options. Thankfully Vortex has you covered with theirs.
