My search for a scope to match with my new T-C ICON Precision Hunter .308 hinged on the purpose of long-range precision. I quickly ruled out reticles that were mil-dot, whether they were the basketballs of Army reticles or the footballs of Marine reticles. I knew I would need finely etched stadia lines, and that's what I found with the Vortex Razor HD. My mind thinks in inches and yards, so I also needed MOA stadia for ranging purposes, and wanted this on the front/first focal plane. You'd be surprised how few options with these 3 characteristics are available in a known quality product. Thank goodness for Vortex at a cost of a bit more than half of another high quality product that I would have wanted. The scope appears and feels robust. The light transmission through this scope is bright and makes for perfectly clear target images (without my glasses). The turret clicks (.25 moa) for both elevation and windage are good and firm, and the paralax adjustment is firm and quickly brings the target image onto the same optical plane as the reticle. On the first day at the range, I was able to zero at 50 yds before running out of daylight, and on the second day I zeroed at 200 yds. I can confirm that this product's stated accuracy is within 1 MOA. Haven't taken this weapon combination to the 600 yd range yet, but I feel condident that I would recommend this scope to anyone.
Pros: Clarity, reticle stadia, elevation and windage clicks
Cons: None so far
