After using my Zeiss 8X30 binoculars for 30 years (and loving them) I tried a guys' Vortex Viper 15X50 binos and they blew me away! So I ordered a pair of Razor 12X50's and their great! First time I looked through them I saw tree mountain goats up on the cliffs above our house. So, on a Vortex kick I ordered the Vortex Razor 3-15X42 scope and it's of the same optical quality.....and a little lighter and a tiny bit smaller than my Leupold VXlll 4.5X14.
